FDM 3D printing

Priced by weight

You pay for the plastic in the part and the machine time to print it, plus a small fixed handling charge per part. Hollow parts with sensible walls cost far less than solid ones.

Resin (SLA / DLP) printing

Priced by material, height and how many share a plate

Resin material plus machine time that depends on the part's height (about 12 seconds per 0.05 mm layer), plus ₹37.50 handling per part. Up to 15 parts of 40 × 40 mm fit on one 219 × 123 mm plate and share the same print time.

Finishing

Added per part

Support removal and basic clean-up are included. Sanding, priming, painting and two-tone finishes are quoted per part with your order. See painting & finishing.

Estimate your part in 10 seconds

Enter the part's outer size (bounding box), average wall thickness and quantity. This is the same formula we quote with; the final price is confirmed from your file.

What does a mould cost?

A mould is a one-time cost; after that the price per part drops sharply. Every mould is quoted after a free DFM check. Read what drives mould cost.

Break-even calculator

Print it or mould it?

Moulding wins once the mould cost is spread over enough parts.

Break-even qty = Mould cost ÷ (Printed price − Moulded price)

Printed price is filled from the estimator above. Enter the mould cost and moulded price from your quote, or ask us for them.

FAQ

Pricing questions

Are these prices final?

They are indicative and come from the same formula we use for real quotes. Your final price depends on the actual file: real geometry, supports, orientation and finish. We confirm every price in a written quote valid for 7 days.

Is GST included?

No. All prices on this page exclude GST. GST at 18% is added as a separate line: CGST 9% + SGST 9% within Maharashtra, or IGST 18% for other states.

Why does 3D printing not get much cheaper in bulk?

Each printed part takes its own machine time and material, so the price per part stays almost flat. Resin printing gets a little cheaper when several small parts share one build plate. For large quantities, injection moulding is the way to bring the price per part down.

Why is resin priced by height?

A resin printer cures a whole layer at a time, so print time depends on how tall the part is, not how wide. A short part, or several parts printed side by side, costs less machine time than one tall part.

Do you charge for design or the DFM check?

The DFM check on a moulding enquiry is free. Full product design and CAD modelling are quoted separately once we have seen your brief.

How do I pay?

50% advance with the order, 50% before dispatch. We send a GST invoice with every order.
