If you work in Sangli, Miraj or one of the MIDC estates, you have probably had this problem: a plastic part breaks on a machine, the original supplier is in Pune or Gujarat, and the replacement takes weeks. Or you have a new product idea and the nearest place that can print a proper prototype seemed to be a courier ride away.

AURO3D is in Sangli. Our factory at Kanadwadi, Savali has 12 FDM 3D printers, 2 resin printers and a 250-tonne injection moulding press. You can drive over with a sample in the morning, discuss it with the engineer who will make it, and decide the next step the same day.

What Sangli and Miraj buyers usually ask us for

The Sangli–Miraj–Kupwad belt is a mix of engineering units, foundries, agri-processing, and a growing number of small electronics and product businesses. The jobs we see from this area fall into a few groups:

  • Replacement plastic parts for machines on the shop floor: knobs, covers, guards, spacers, chain guides, sensor brackets. Often the original is discontinued or the supplier is unresponsive.
  • Foundry patterns for small runs. Kupwad and Miraj MIDC have foundries and machine shops, and a 3D-printed pattern is a faster route to a first casting than a hand-made wooden one. See casting patterns.
  • Enclosures for control panels and electronics, from one prototype box to a batch for a customer order.
  • Agri and food-processing parts: guides, chutes, clips and fittings for grading, packing and irrigation equipment. Turmeric, raisin and sugar processing all use small plastic components that wear out.
  • Models and demonstrators for college projects and exhibitions, from students at engineering colleges in and around the city.

Which process fits your Sangli job

You need Best process Why
1–50 functional parts, quickly FDM printing (PLA, PETG, ABS, Nylon) No tooling, low cost per part
Fine detail, smooth surface, small part Resin printing (DLP, called SLA) 0.05 mm layers, build plate 219 × 123 mm
A pattern for a sand or investment casting FDM or castable resin Faster than a hand-made pattern for complex shapes
Hundreds to thousands of identical parts Injection moulding (PP, HDPE, ABS) Mould cost is spread over volume

If you are not sure, send the drawing or a photo and tell us the quantity. We will suggest the cheapest process that works, even if it is not the one you expected.

Free pickup and walk-in visits

For customers inside Sangli and Miraj, the simplest arrangement is pickup from the factory, which is free. Coming in person also helps, because it is easier to agree on fit and finish with the part in hand.

Visiting is also the fastest way to start a reverse-engineering job. Bring the worn part, a mating part if you have one, and any drawing. Our mechanical designer can measure it, and we print a test piece for you to try on the machine before making the full quantity.

Call or WhatsApp +91 93568 71008 before you come. The factory is near the Ultratech RMC plant at Kanadwadi, Savali.

Moulding in Sangli, without going to Pune

Many Sangli businesses buy moulded parts from Pune, Mumbai or Rajkot because they did not know a local option existed. Our 250-tonne Haitian MA 2500 press runs PP, HDPE and ABS, and moulds are designed and built through us.

The advantage of a local moulder is not only freight. You can approve first-off samples in person, raise a problem with the person who ran the job, and keep your mould in a factory you can visit. We print the part first so you can check fit before any steel is cut. We quote every mould individually after a free DFM check. The break-even guide shows when a mould is worth it.

How ordering works for local customers

  1. Send the file or bring the part. STL or STEP is best; a drawing, photo with dimensions or a physical sample also works.
  2. Get a quote. You receive a written quote with material, quantity and price, GST shown separately at 18%. Quotes are valid for 7 days.
  3. Confirm with 50% advance. The balance is paid before dispatch or pickup.
  4. Collect or receive. Pick up free from Savali, or ask for delivery.

Your files are used only to quote and make your part, and we sign an NDA on request. The full process is on how ordering works.

Next step

Send your STL, STEP, drawing or a photo of the part on WhatsApp at +91 93568 71008, with the quantity and material if you know it. If it is easier, just drive over with the sample. We are a short drive from most of Sangli, Miraj and the MIDC estates.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where exactly is the AURO3D factory in Sangli?

We are at 180/1/A/22, Near Ultratech RMC Plant, Kanadwadi, Savali, Sangli 416436. Call or WhatsApp +91 93568 71008 before you come so the right person is free to meet you.

Can I collect parts from the factory instead of paying for delivery?

Yes. Pickup from the Savali factory is free. For Sangli and Miraj buyers, collecting is often the quickest option, especially for urgent or fragile jobs. If you want us to drop parts off, ask us for the local delivery charge.

Can I bring a broken part from Kupwad MIDC and get a copy made?

Yes. Bring the part or a clear photo with key dimensions. We reverse-engineer it into a CAD model, print a test piece for you to check, and then make the quantity you need.

How quickly can I get a 3D print in Sangli?

It depends on part size, material and how busy the printers are. Tell us your deadline when you send the file and we will say honestly whether we can meet it.

What does a small 3D print cost?

As an indication, a 50×30×20 mm bracket in PLA works out to about ₹76 and a 100×60×30 mm enclosure to about ₹170, both excluding 18% GST. The final price depends on your file. See pricing for how we calculate it.

Do you mould plastic parts for Sangli industries, or only 3D print?

Both. We run a 250-tonne Haitian MA 2500 injection moulding machine in the same factory, in PP, HDPE and ABS. For quantities in the hundreds or thousands, we work out whether a mould pays for itself before you spend on tooling.

Can I see my part being made?

Yes. Customers are welcome to visit the factory, see their part on the printer or the press, and approve samples in person.
